Cosmo VoxBox review

I know I fail in the photo sense. I've used the same photo for my last couple blog posts but I'm still learning my new camera so just bare with me ;)

 

1. Venus embrace- One word, INCREDIBLE!!! Bit pricey but I've been using the same razor head for about a month now and I'm just noticing the blade dulling down, totally worth the price to buy replacement heads since my disposables don't even shave as nicely as a month old embrace head!!

 

2.Ghirardelli Sea Salt Escape- Such a tastey candy bar! I'm lactose intolerant so it left a slight plastic like after taste but that happens with almost all milk chocolate for me. It says sea salt escape but it isn't really salty, just enough to make the chocolate really sweet!!! Regardless of the after taste it didn't survive past the intial opening of the bar it was so good. Hard to find locally but worth the search!

 

3. Forever Red- I'm in love with this scent. I use it on everything I want to smell good including nasty exercise clothes that the smell is impossible to get out of. It masks it nicely without being over powering like "Old lady" scents. A little goes a long way even in a sample sized bottle, have been using it for over a month & have used maybe 1/4 of the bottle. Hoping to catch a deal at bath and body works to pick up the lotion soon!

 

4. Pilot Pen FriXions- Seriously how awesome is a pen that is COMPLETELY eraseable? Not just sort of like other brands of pen I mean ink completely 100% gone when your done! Great for doodling, making lists, writing letters, EVERYTHING in general. Never worry about another mistake being made! I've erased a good bit and the rubber on the end hasn't gone anywhere or staind at all so it should last until the ink runs out! Ink is right there and waiting to go the moment you pull the cap off as well. Awesome for a "gel" ink pen!

 

5.Gillette Venus & Olay- Can't say much about it just yet, I haven't gotten to try it but Gillette makes quality items so I'm sure I won't be displeased by it :) well as long as my sensitive skin has no horrible reaction since tape causes it to peel LOL

Forever Red Exclusively at Bath & Body Works

Forever Red is a passionate blend of pomegranate, red osmanthus and vanilla rum. I honestly wouldn't have been able to tell you exactly what the scent was without looking up its description. Regardless it has quickly become my favorite scent. It's very easy on the nose not overly powerful like "Old woman perfume" I have actually pushed aside all of my other scents (candy cane included!!!) & doused pretty much everything in this scent. First scent I've ever come across that lasts so long on clothing and only scent that comes close to masking the awful smell of exercise clothes! I'm thouroughly impressed. The sample sized bottle has gone very far too! I've used it everyday since I recieved it, sometimes multiple times a day and I've used maybe 1/4 of the bottle. Will most definetly be repurchasing when I'm out. Along with the lotion :)

Gillette, Venus Embrace

I recieved a Venus Embrace 5 blade razor in my very first Cosmo Voxbox. I'm the type of girl who buys those cheap disposable razors & use them forever until they either show their first sign of rust, or I no longer feel even semi smooth. I seriously feel so spoiled using this razor. I have no idea how I'll ever transition back to a disposable razor if our budget doesn't allow for the little extra to buy them.

I've been using the head it came with for 3-4 weeks already.  The shave itself still feels just as smooth as day one!!! No sign what so ever of rust or any sign of at all that it has been used over and over again that many times (shave daily).

I still have an olay venus head to try out once this blade is finally used up!

Red Light District

This is my first blog post so forgive me if it isn't pretty LOL

For my first review of anything (since I'm one of those people who have an attention span of a goldfish & love anything & everything) I wanted to review "Red light district"

So for my first use of "Red light district" I couldn't decid what color to put it over so I decided to try 10!! Polishes used from left to right....

• Sally Hansen: Black out
• China Glaze: Stone Cold

• Finger Paints: Late Night Rendezous
• China Glaze: Frost Bite
• Sinful Colors: HD nails
• OPI: Grape set match
• China Glazy: Riveting
• Sinful Colors: 24/7 (neon pink dries matte, YES PLEASE!!)
• KleanColor: Funky Yellow
• Jordana quick dry
• Memo's Mind: Red light district

All the polish applied smoothly (semi messy, my fault) even over top of Elmers glue for a base coat (expirement) for a glitter Red light district was incredibly easy to apply. No real need to position the glitter like some. Looks great over many different colors. Some better than others obviously. Not an over powering scent but smells very nice & fruity! I absolutely can't wait for Steff to make full sized bottles of it I will have to purchase one!
